About Us

Our Mission:
To provide girls ages 5 and older the opportunity to play softball in a fun, safe, and educational environment while learning the fundamental of the sport. The Octorara Softball Association participates in the Brandywine Valley Girls Softball League (BVGSL). Home games are played at the Octorara school complex and away games take place throughout western Chester County and Lancaster County. Spring games are played from the middle of April through the middle of June. The Fall seasons starts August/September and goes until early November.  All players play in every game they attend (unless sick or injured). Players are placed on a team based on ability and age, which is determined by how old the player is on Dec. 31 of the previous year.
